  • Ben Pearce

    Pastor Ben(jie) Pearce started serving as Sr. Pastor at Fuquay Baptist in March of 2022.

    Ben grew up at Fuquay Baptist. The joke is that all the major spiritual events of his life took place within a 15 foot circle. He was saved at FVBC, baptized at FVBC, preached his first sermon at FVBC, met his wife at FVBC, married his wife at FVBC, dedicated his children at FVBC, ordained as a deacon and a minister at FVBC. So to be able to pastor his home church is truly a blessing. Ben graduated from N.C. State with an undergrad in Economics before receiving his Masters from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition, he is presently working on his DMin in Apologetics at Southern Evangelical Seminary in Matthews, N.C. Pastor Ben served in several staff positions at Fuquay Baptist Church for eight years before God moved him to Baptist Grove Baptist Church. He pastored at Baptist Grove for 12 years before God called him back to Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church.

    Ben's wife, Renee graduated from The University of North Carolina with a degree in Math Education. Through God’s grace and Renee’s gentle spirit, they have been married since August 1994. God has blessed them with three children. Daniel is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Wisconsin at Madison in Biomedical Engineering. Nicole is a working on her master’s in Speech Therapy at East Carolina University. Nate is an freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ben and Renee also have a boxer dog named Jackie that is dearly loved. Ben loves working, working out, and teaching and preaching God’s Word.

    My name is Molly Little and I am honored to serve as your WEECare director. My journey at Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church began as a member in March of 2022. My sons and I were looking for a new church family and we were truly blessed to have found Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church and Pastor Ben. When my youngest son started preschool at WEECare in August of 2022 I saw there was a need for a parent representative on the church’s WEECare committee. Joining the committee led me closer to the WEECare ministry and I was shown how truly special this ministry is. It was strongly laid on my heart to offer my services when the position of Director became available. The WEECare ministry and Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church had done so much for my family that I wanted to give back however I could. I was raised right here in Fuquay-Varina and always knew I wanted to make teaching my profession. After graduating from Meredith College with a degree in Child Development and Elementary Education Licensure, I was in the field of education. For ten years I was a preschool teacher at SAS Institute before starting a family in 2015. I am the mama of two handsome, sweet full-of-life boys; Finley and Rhett who are my whole world. After being a stay-at-home mom for a few years I changed my career path and headed into real estate in 2019. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my boys, family, and friends, going to the beach, and doing projects around my home. I am so glad that you have found your way to WEECare and I hope you too can experience how special this ministry is.

Our Teachers

  • Ada Delgado

    My name is Mrs. Ada Delgado, and I have been working for the WEECare ministry for the past 4 and a half years. I worked for the NC Pre-K program for 6 years in a private setting, and then I worked at The Learning Experience in Holly Springs for 10 years. I have been a Pre-School educator for over 23 years; I have a bachelor's degree in Communications, as well as an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. I am bilingual, I was born in Dominican Republic, but I have lived in NC for 22 years. I am an avid beach-goer, and I have one daughter named Shelly who is 26 years old. My husband, Jerry, and I reside in Lillington, NC. My favorite color is pink, I like to eat healthy snacks, and my favorite animal is an elephant. I cannot wait to get to know each and every one of my students and their families. We will have tons of fun together preparing for kindergarten, learning about the love of Jesus, and making new friends this year!

  • Madison Goss

    Hi! I’m Madison Goss and I am the teacher in 3B. I have been at WEECare for five years and the three year old teacher for three. I was born and raised in Fuquay where I live with my husband and our dog, Frog. Some of my favorite things include all things pink, shopping, decorating, and spending time with my family! I have always had the passion and the heart to teach little minds and I am so blessed to be able to teach at WEECare where I can also share the love of Jesus to them!

  • Kim Cobb

    This will be my 20th year teaching in Early Childhood Education.

    This past year, I Co-Taught with Mrs.Teresa in the Part-time 4’s class. Two years prior to that, I was fighting breast cancer – and I won! The 15 years before I was diagnosed, I was teaching Kindergarten at Hilltop Christian School in Fuquay-Varina.

    I am thrilled that I will get to be a part of your child’s and your family’s life this year. Ms. Shelby, my Co-Teacher, was actually in my Two year old class when she was a little girl. God has amazingly re-connected us at WEECare to teach together! What a blessing!

  • Michele Dunn

    Seven years ago I came to WEECare following twenty-six years in the food service industry. I enjoy my multiple roles at WEECare including Nutrition Coordinator, Before/After School Teacher, and Before/After School bus driver. I am married to a retired police Captain and have one amazing daughter, one beautiful granddaughter, and two sweet fur babies. My interests include all outdoor activities and spending time with my family.

  • Chrissy Hodge

    My name is Chrissy Hodge. I work as a teacher assistant in the part-time 3s class and drive the bus and work with our school-age children. I am originally from West Virginia but because my dad was in the Army, I moved around a lot when I was little. After several years in the northern Virginia area, my family relocated to Wake County while I was in high school. I graduated from Wake Christian Academy and the received a BA in Creative Writing from Bob Jones University. Prior to teaching preschool, I spend 13 years working as a nanny with children of all ages. I attend Fellowship Baptist Church in Willow Spring where I serve as the music ministry assistant and pianist.

  • Taylor Johnson

    My name is Taylor Johnson and I’m the lead teacher in the PT 3’s class. I started working at WEECare in 2014. I have my Associate’s Degree and Early Childhood credentials from Wake Tech. I have been married to my husband, Mason since 2020. I have a two year old daughter named Lily and a dog named Ruger. I enjoy hanging out with my family, being outside, and weightlifting. My favorite bible verse is Isaiah 41:10.

  • Jennifer Watkins

    Hello! My name is Mrs. Jen and I am thrilled to be the teaching assistant in the 3B classroom. This is the second school year working at WEECare and I absolutely love it! I have 25 plus years working in children’s ministries, ranging in service from volunteer to full-time director. I have been married over 30 years to my husband Joe and we have 3 grown daughters. We are blessed with 6 amazing grandchildren and needless to say, spending time with them is my favorite hobby.

  • Crystal Davis

    Hello! My name is Crystal Davis. I’ve been at WEECare for 24 years. I have a degree in Early Childhood and I absolutely love working with children! I enjoy teaching them about Jesus and His love for us! In my spare time, I enjoy going to the beach, fishing, shopping and spending time with my family. I live in Fuquay Varina with my husband and our two boys.

  • Brenda Mautz

    Hello, my name is Brenda Mautz. I came to WEECare the Fall of 2007 as a part-time Spanish Teacher. I am now a Assistant Teacher in the Part-Time 4’s Class. I also teach Spanish and assist in other classrooms. I love working here and feel that this is a ministry that God has called me to do.

    I actually grew on the mission field in South America, mainly Peru’s jungle area and Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am looking forward to serving God here and wherever else He leads me.

  • Savanah Womack

    Hello, my name is Savanah Womack. I have worked in childcare for 7 years but I am currently going into my last year of Cosmetology School. I have been with WEECare for over a year. I love being surrounded by kids and teaching them about the Lord. I love to cook and spend time in the Word when I’m not busy. You may see me doing carpool in the afternoons. Stop by and say hi!

  • Lexi Wester

    Hi! I am Lexi Wester, I am 23 years old. I live in Lillington, NC and attended Harnett Central High School and Central Carolina Community College. For 6 year I was a gymnastics coach and after-school teacher at Langley Gymnastics. Working with children is my passion and I am so blessed to be at WEECare. In my free time, I love to shop at target, read and spend time with my fur baby, Moose, a chocolate lab, as well as my nephew.

  • Shakira Coronado

    My name is Shakira Coronado and I work as a teacher's assistant for the 4-year-old group.

    I arrived at Weecare in the fall of 2023, it was a total surprise and at the same time a blessing because my profession before entering the center has always been Ophthalmological Surgery. I arrived at NC in October 2018 and for reasons beyond my control I could not pursue my career here.

    I have always been passionate about working with children, so I was involved in the children's ministry at my church and volunteering at the hospital level.

    Working with children has brought satisfaction to my life, I feel that it is the ministry that God has called me to at this stage of my life. This new stage arrived at just the perfect time, so much so that I have decided to pursue studies in early childhood education. August 2023 begins this wonderful stage and I hope in God it continues to bear fruit.
